Types and origins of coffee supplied by our company:-
- - Nekemete and wellega:- nekemte also known as lekemete located within the northern state of wellega where coffee grows between 5,500 and 7,200 feet. The region produces excellent sundried natural and washed coffee, often characterized by a full and fruity flavor.
- - Jimma:- jimma encompases ethiopia’s largest market of unwashed coffee produces in the southwestern region of Ethiopia between 4,500 and 5,900 feet. Jimma is a sundried coffee with medium acidity, heavy body, and hard balanced up flavor.
- - Limu:- limu coffee grows in the southwest of Ethiopia between 3,600 and 6,200 feet. Limu coffee (all washed) generally has a milder acidity. The flavor is characterized by a balanced and clean cup.
- - Other important southwest regions include bench maji, kaffa, bebeke and tepi.
- - Sidama:- sideama coffee is in southern Ethiopia along the rift valley, growing between 5,000 and 7,200 feet. Various grades of both washed and unwashed coffees are produced resulting in a balanced acidity and body of good quality.
- - Harare:- harar coffee grows in the eastern most region between 4,900 and 6,955 feet. Nearly all coffee from harar is sundried natural and has a distinictive mocha flavor. The flavor is characterized by medium to light acidity, full body and blueberry notes.
- - Yirgacheffe:- yirgacheffe is a woreda and prime speciality coffee area situated in the SNNP region, named after its major town yirgacheffe, it is bordered on the south by kochere, on the west by the oromiya zone, on the north by wenago, on the east by bale and on the southeast by gedeb.
